M9037A BIOS Downloads

With upgrading, DO NOT install this version unless you have version AG10 installed first. If you skip versions during BIOS upgrade, the M9037A may result in not powering up after the install.

The AG11 BIOS has these changes:

1. During boot, the key "CTRL" will open the BIOS setup screen, just as the F7 key does.
2. Changed the Power On mode to be “Last State” by default rather than "Remain Off".
3. Set Keyboard Num Lock to “On” by default.
4. Add a configurable BIOS option for SATA hot-plug function; it is set to Disabled by default.
5. Make "Enabled" the default for "PCIe Performance".
6. Enhanced some wording of messages during boot.
7. Add "XHCI mode" item under Setup -> USB -> PCH USB Configuration page; Smart Auto remains the default.
8. Remove C-Status related items while enabling PCIe Performance under BIOS to better reflect available options.

Remember to also update the M9037A ME FW to resolve security vulnerability issues. DO NOT update ME FW until you download and install M9037A BIOS version AG11 or later first.

• Changed PCIe Gen3 configuration for improved signal integrity
• Improved multi-chassis enumeration
• Add a new configurable BIOS option for “PCIe Wake” and make the default setting “enable”

The AG09 BIOS corrects or improves the following problems found with the previous version:

• Allow PCIe devices to have a larger memory footprint.
• Support 16 GB device BAR and increase system memory to 512 GB.
• Allow operation with a wider range of USB devices.
• Resolve issue with pressing ESC in the BIOS boot menu.
• Resolved USB connection issue with Keysight N6700B.
• Special case addition to the white list (Ven=0E80, Dev=190C).
   

The AG08 BIOS corrects or improves the following problems found with the previous version:

• The BIOS screen now displays Keysight instead of Agilent.
• In the "Setup Utility" in the "Main Tab" the field "Boot Source" is added. The legal values for this field are 0x0 = Primary BIOS, 0x1 = Backup BIOS, or External BIOS.
• In the "Setup Utility" in the "Main Tab" the field "BIOS Version" will now display the version of the "Boot Source".
• If the "Quiet Boot" field is disabled then the POST (Power On Self-Test) results will now be displayed at Restart.
• When the hold off timer is enabled the sequence is now PERST# => Hot Reset => Delay => Enumerate. The old sequence was PERST# => Delay => Hot Reset => Enumerate.
• Both the HDD-Master password and the HDD-User password are removed from the Setup Utility Security tab.
• Changed the SATA port 0 Gen3 receiver DTLE value from 0x2 to 0x6 to fix Intel SSC drop issue.
