University Student Certification Program
Helping universities create industry-ready engineering students
Benefiting Industries, Universities, and Students
Sustaining innovation in fast-evolving technology industries such as 5G and the Internet of Things (IoT) demands a constant stream of new-hire graduates equipped with relevant skillsets. Keysight student certifications deliver exceptional value for students, educators, and employers. Employers can confidently target and hire industry-ready graduate engineers. Universities benefit from certifications, a curriculum focused on building skills to support the latest industry trends. Students graduate with job-ready skills and hands-on experience, landing jobs faster, which also benefits the employer and enhances university's reputation. It’s a win-win for everyone involved.
IoT Design and Validation Industry-Ready Student Certification
The Keysight IoT Design and Validation Industry-Ready Student Certification recognizes a student’s comprehension of key IoT design, validation and measurement concepts. Students will gain knowledge in IoT fundamentals, systems design, wireless communications, sensors and power management.
RF & Microwave Industry-Ready Student Certification
The Keysight RF and Microwave Industry-Ready Certification indicates competency and proficiency in the use of Keysight’s industry-leading PathWave electronic design automation (EDA) software and test and measurement instruments. A key component of this certification program is the use of Keysight's RF and microwave workflow environment: a comprehensive way to simulate, measure, and analyze communications components and systems.
New! High-Speed Digital (HSD) Industry-Ready Student Certification
The Keysight High-Speed Digital Industry-Ready Certification demonstrates proficiency with Keysight's PathWave electronic design automation (EDA) software and instruments for digital circuit design, simulation, and test. Students completing HSD certification have experience with a range of simulations including: signal integrity, electromagnetic (EM) models, power integrity, along with serial and parallel link analysis. A critical requirement for advanced certification is experience performing hands on measurements to validate simulations.

“I am an RF engineer and was given a project recently that requires a lot of autonomy. I realized shortly after being assigned the project that the reason I was working on this; whilst other full time RF engineers were not; was because when asked if I knew how to use ADS for this application and other various software, I was able to say yes and clarify exactly what they wanted me to do in each software.
My experience gained from the RF and Microwave certification program gave me this added advantage.”
