Description
Introducing MBP 2017
MBP 2017 introduces the new model extraction package for static random-access memory (SRAM) cell. The automated model extraction flows are enhanced for statistical model and the compact models including BSIM3v3, BSIM4 and BSIM-CMG. Script API is updated to support more functionalities. Various improvements are made on user interface (UI). The internal SPICE engine supports the latest model versions: BSIM-CMG 110.0, 109.0, BSIM-IMG 102.8, 102.7, HiSIM2 2.9.0, HiSIM_HV 2.3.2, 2.3.1, 2.3.0, and EKV 302.00.
New SRAM cell model generation package
- Support for the simulation of SRAM cell-level figures of merit (FOMs)
- Ease of tuning parameters from different model components
- Support for the comparison of different SRAM cell models
Enhanced model extraction flows for:
- Statistical model
- BSIM3v3
- BSIM4
- BSIM-CMG
Script API update
- Allows you to set data range in script application programming interface (API)
- New function is supported to determine if a parameter exists or not
UI Improvements
- Enables user to display intact number on X/Y axis of a plot
- Allows user to update the parameter value in the tuner bar even if the value is out of boundary
- Improved redo/undo dropdown list to include the information of model name
- Allows user to rename the new Browser window
- Allows user to resize the Model Tweaking window
