Identify the key contributors to your receivers sensitivity, by measuring the noise figure of your device or network.

Highlights

The KS9802HMNB PathWave Measurements Noise Figure Analysis Pack includes:

  • Hardware control of noise source
  • Hardware control of PXIe signal analyzer
  • Support for 2 noise figure estimation methods: Y-factor and Cold Source
  • Calibration method and previous calibration recall
  • Noise figure and gain results

The KS9802HMNB PathWave Measurements Noise Figure Analysis Pack enables the measurement of device or network noise figure by controlling test equipment to supply a noise signal to the device and measuring the device response from a PXIe receiver. By definition, the noise figure of a network is defined as the ratio of the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) at the input to the SNR at the output. The most typical device-under-test (DUT) is an amplifier.
