On this page, you will find the latest software available for the E8718A (SINGLE CHANNEL) radar target simulator. Keysight highly recommends staying up to date with the latest software versions available.

The E8718A improves over the E8708A with a removable front end, providing flexibility to position the radar target simulator physically. Operates in two modes between 76 to 77 GHz (1 GHz bandwidth) and 77 to 81 GHz (4 GHz bandwidth).

Keysight recommends using the most current version, which includes the most up-to-date bug fixes and security patches available.

How to Download

  • Click the download button.
  • Save the file (540 MB) to a folder on C drive of E8718A Radar Target Simulator.

How to Install

  1. Download and run the installer to begin the installation
  2. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation

Note: 

  1. Install directory: C:\Program Files\Keysight\E870x_Server
    RTS.exe is expected in the install directory mentioned above. Please contact Keysight for support if there are any issues/errors encountered during the installation or if the E870x_Server folder is moved or copied to another location.
  2. You must be logged in to Windows with administrative privileges to install the software.
  3. Note that you must accept the terms of the license agreement to continue.
