The AP5011A G2 analog signal generator combines excellent signal purity and ultra-low phase noise with high output power and fast switching speed. It allows for fast digital sweeps, including flexible list sweeps, with the ability to set frequency, power, and dwell times individually. Compact and lightweight, with low power consumption and an optional external battery, the AP5011A G2 is suitable for lab, manufacturing, and field work. 

  • Achieve an OCXO stabilized low phase noise signal with mHz resolution and a wide and accurately levelled output power range 
  • Employ extensive modulation capabilities such as AM, FM, PM, pulse, frequency chirp, and configurable pulse sequences 
  • Enable fast switching of 30 µs 
  • Simplify synchronization with a flexible triggering system and programmable external reference frequency between 5 to 250 MHz
  • Use an optional battery adapter for DC power supply with low power consumption
  • Operate using the front panel or remotely via Ethernet, GPIB (SCPI 1999), or USB
