Industry-Specific Oscilloscope Software
In every industry, it’s important to dig deeper than the basic measurements of an oscilloscope. The latest InfiniiVision oscilloscope industry-specific software options support trigger and decode for Automotive, Aerospace & Defense, Embedded Design, Power Supply Testing, aUSB 2.0 applications.
Unlike software options from other oscilloscope vendors, there is no need to pick from a long list of protocol or feature options. Simply select the package that aligns with your industry to enable a suite of related serial protocols and advanced measurement capabilities.
Automotive
The Automotive Package for the InfiniiVision 3000 X-Series oscilloscopes enables all automotive-related trigger, decode and analysis capabilities. This includes CAN, CAN FD, LIN, SENT, CXPI, FlexRay, Manchester, NRZ, eye-diagram mask testing, and frequency response analysis (FRA - also known as Bode plotting).
Whether you are debugging a lane assist system or sensors on an engine, the Automotive Software Package can help you get to the next design phase faster. All serial triggering and decoding included in each package are hardware-based. This ensures real-time results significantly faster than what you will find with other vendors’ software decoding. The automated measurements and symbolic decoding for automotive buses make it easier to perform analysis on complex systems.
Keep in mind you can also use the zone triggering capability with any of the serial decoding options to isolate occurrences within the bus. Simply draw a box on the screen with your finger over the packet or area of interest.
Aerospace & Defense
Almost every MIL-STD 1553 serial trigger and decode licenses will also enable decoding for ARINC 429. However, the InfiniiVision Aerospace Software Package also enables advanced analysis capabilities, including eye-diagram mask testing, FRA, enhanced HDTV video triggering and analysis, and advanced math.
Embedded Designs
Embedded designs typically use 5 different serial busses: I2C, SPI, UART/RS232/485, I2S, and USB power delivery (a.k.a. USB-PD). Test all busses in your embedded and mixed-signal designs with the Embedded Software Package. Like the other InfiniiVision software packages, this package also enables mask testing and frequency response analysis.
You can easily test two buses at one time with the dual-bus time-interleaved protocol lister. For example, if you know that your USB-PD signal should trigger an event in your I2C bus, you can easily analyze that simultaneously in real time.
Note that segmented memory can also always be used with serial buses to trigger on specific packets or errors.
Power Supply Testing (Switch Mode Power Supplies)
Characterize all aspects of your switch mode power supply with the Power Software Package. Additionally, unlike any other power application out there, this package enables critical frequency response measurements: power supply rejection ratio (PSRR) and control loop response. The package also enables hardware-based pass/fail mask testing and USB-PD trigger and decode.
USB 2.0
The USB Software Package for Keysight’s InfiniiVision oscilloscopes enables USB 2.0 low-, full-, and hi-speed protocol triggering and decode, as well as USB PD trigger and decode. This package also enables other advanced analysis capabilities including USB 2.0 automated signal quality testing, jitter analysis, mask testing, and frequency response analysis (Bode plots) to help test and debug high-speed digital signals.
Ultimate Bundles – Enable Everything!
Lastly, you can enable every option from each of the InfiniiVision Software Packages with the Ultimate Bundle Package. Visit the bundle that aligns with your oscilloscope series to learn more on what is included.
