GoldenGate is an advanced simulation and analysis solution for integrated RF circuit design. Its unique simulation algorithms are optimized for the challenging demands of today's complex RF circuit design, enabling full characterization of complete transceivers prior to tape-out. Developed for the specific needs of RFIC/Wireless designers, GoldenGate is fully integrated into the Cadence Analog Design Environment (ADE).
The GoldenGate 4.3.8 release is no longer available for download. It included support for parameters area and perim in the capacitor device and a problem fixed in elaboration of the node names inside the structural if statements. Support for the Keysight EEsof new style licenses was available for this release also. A new license file is NOT required as GoldenGate 4.3.8 remains compatible with licenses generated for previous GoldenGate 4.3.x releases. For more information on license requirements, compatibility and additional product release details, please refer to the GoldenGate 4.3.8 Release Notes (no longer available).
The GoldenGate 4.3.7 release is no longer available for download. It included some improvements and updates in DIODE, HICUM, MOSFET PSP device model and support for m-factor in Verilog-A modules. Also, support for the Keysight EEsof new style licenses is added for this release. A new license file is NOT required as GoldenGate 4.3.7 remains compatible with licenses generated for previous GoldenGate 4.3.x releases. For more information on license requirements, compatibility and additional product release details, please refer to the GoldenGate 4.3.7 Release Notes (no longer available).
The GoldenGate 4.3.6 release is no longer available for download. This release included updates and improvements in DIODE, MOSFET BSIM3, and MOSFET BSIM4-SOI device models. There are also updates to Carrier Analysis and Small Signal Noise Analysis. For more information, refer to the GoldenGate 4.3.6 Release Notes (no longer available).
The GoldenGate 4.3.5 release is no longer available for download. This release included new versions of the device models: BJT HICUM2 V.2.23 and MOS EKV V.3.0. It contains also some updates for BJT models HICUM2 and HICUM0. A context-sensitive Help system is available in the release. It provides access to documentation from any window or form from within GoldenGate. For more information, refer to the GoldenGate 4.3.5 Release Notes (no longer available).
The GoldenGate 4.3.4 release is no longer available for download. This release is primarily focused on model updates. Model updates and fixes are included for MOS EKV, MOS903, behavioral sources, and Fast ET Analysis. For more information, refer to the GoldenGate 4.3.4 Release Notes (no longer available).
The GoldenGate 4.3.3 release is no longer available for download. This release contained improvements in analysis usability, optimization, and results viewing. It also includes fixes for running remote simulations, installation requirements, and models. For more information, refer to the GoldenGate 4.3.3 Release Notes (no longer available).
The GoldenGate 4.3.2 release is no longer available for download. For more information, refer to the GoldenGate 4.3.2 Release Notes (no longer available).
The GoldenGate 4.3.1 release is no longer available for download. For more information, refer to the GoldenGate 4.3.1 Release Notes (no longer available).
GoldenGate Tools were companion products to GoldenGate, an all-purpose RFIC simulator, for use in the Cadence environment. GoldenGate Tools include Data Display, Momentum, and Ptolemy standards based modulated sources and sinks.
GoldenGate Tools 4.3.4 release is no longer available for download. This release enhances both data set merging capabilities as well as adding additional remote control commands for Data Display. These new features are to support new technology to be released in a future version of GoldenGate.
For more information, please refer to the GoldenGate Tools 4.3.4 Release Notes.
GoldenGate Tools 4.3.2 release features improvements for Momentum, Broadband Spice Model Generator, and Data Display.
Updates for Momentum included improved meshing and resistance modeling for RFIC structures for accurate prediction of L, R and Q for spiral inductors as well as new mesh reduction algorithms optimized for speed while preserving accuracy. Also included is a new 3D viewer for pre/post-simulation structures and results and new import/export capabilities for the Graphical Substrate editor.
Enhancements to the Broadband Spice Model Generator including guaranteed model passivity and causality, input data smoothing and model verification capability with associated data display templates and new quality assessment of input data.
Data Display has also been updated with Snap-to-Grid plot alignment for professional looking reports.
For more information, please refer to the GoldenGate Tools 4.3.2 Release Notes.
The GoldenGate 4.3.0 release features new support for the Noise Analysis in Envelope; Threaded Transient Convolution capability that delivers 2-5x improvement in speed; remote host capability for parallel simulations and license options for parallel Corners and Monte Carlo simulations; improvements in simulation time and memory consumption for Monte Carlo simulations using binned PDKs or large circuit extracted views; a time-domain preconditioner that improves Harmonic Balance simulations for strongly nonlinear circuits. The release also includes support for standard-compliant wireless sources and sinks from Keysight’s Ptolemy system simulator.
The GoldenGate Tools 4.3.0 release features improvements in the Data Display (DDS) viewer including intelligent symbol spacing on traces, improved page management, and CVS data export. DDS updates also include new display templates for s-parameters, gain/noise figure/stability circles, carrier analysis, load/source pull etc. Momentum updates include support for the new Graphical Substrate Editor, a BroadBand Spice Model Generator, a layout pre-processor for 100% mesh robustness for EM convergence, and accuracy improvements for structures containing slots and vias.
